Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 amβ5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Dental Hygiene Centers at (239) 286-9988; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, dentalhygienecentersfl.com.

Fort Myers is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fort Myers follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

What an amazing experience at Dental Hygiene Centers! My daughter broke her front tooth and after going to other dentists and endodontists we found Dr Rodriguez and he did the most amazing job! Jen at the front is kind and friendly and Shawna was amazing during the tooth restoration process. The entire team made my very scared 9 year old feel at ease and had her laughing. She was so excited about the experience that she asked to go back to visit. I highly recommend Dental Hygiene Centers for everyone in the family! Thank you for your care and kindness.

Had such a great experience at the office! Dr. Rodriguez was amazing. Very gentle, patient, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. The staff was also incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional from the moment I walked in. You can really tell they care about their patients. We had such a wonderful experience here with our 3-year-old daughter! The women who work here are absolutely awesomeβso friendly, welcoming, and patient. Both of the doctors are incredibly kind and compassionate, which made the visit stress-free and positive. We even let our daughter brush her own teeth this morning and brought her straight to the dentist so they could have a conversation with her (and us) about how she did. It was such a great way to make her feel involved and confident about taking care of her teeth. Iβm so grateful we found this office and highly recommend them!
